A snow day!

With all the snow we have been getting lately we have been enjoying lots of time out playing in the crazy white stuff......well maybe I should rephrase that.... The boys have been spending alot of time outside and I have been patiently waiting on them inside, where its warm. Someone has to be in here ready with the hot chocolate and to get their wet snow clothes off and put away, right?!?
Before play we have to make sure all the works done.....so see below as they work and then play....

Getting all geared up to go outside.
Plowing off the driveway first....and let me tell you this is tough tough work!!!
Shoveling off the deck......they have to earn their keep somehow.
Kahne is confused, he thinks he needs to mow the grass.....seems we have another Kamden on the rise.
Okay now we can play.....lets all throw snowballs at mom.....and they wonder why I just stay inside.
Sledding down the hill with mom.
And now a turn for dad.
I remember when he hated snow....didn't want to touch it. He would stay out there all day and not complain a bit now....such a trooper!

Santa--a couple days early.....

Santa stopped by tonight to make sure he had the list just right for what Kamden and Kahne wanted for Christmas. Kamden was so happy!
He told Santa he wanted tractors and diggers, of course! Kahne wasn't too interested in being with Santa, he just wanted the candy canes they had brought.

Santa, Mrs Claus and 2 of their elves....what an awesome surprise!

Opening the gift Santa brought for tonight. He will bring all the other things on Christmas morning.
Making Cookies for Santa

Santa had to be on his way to see all the other girls and boys.
Once he was on his way, Kamden kept saying "I'm so happy Santa came to my house."
He has only two more days....he is so excited!!!

Favorite Foto Friday

Just a quick post to add a picture.
Jason had just washed the car and Kamden really thought he should scoop up the excess water that had created a puddle at the end of the driveway.
It turned out to be a great picture opportunity as I really love this shot.

Kamden's Christmas Program

Kamden had his Christmas program at daycare/preschool last Thursday night. He did exceptionally better than last year. He was still very timid and for sure was not the loudest in the group but he sung.
His class sang Rudolf the red nosed reindeer, Up on the Housetop, Jingle jingle little bell, Twinkle Twinkle Little star (and did this in sign language while singing), and The Reindeer Pokey, which was quite a site to see.

This first picture is from his Christmas program last year. Kamden is the one sitting on his teachers knee. Thats all he did, well sit there and cry and reach for us in the audience.

And this year......he might have tried to sneak to the back row as to not be too noticed. But he didn't cry and he sung.

The Reindeer Pokey
They were suppose to be turning around and putting their tail in and shaking at this point.

It was fun to watch. The 2 and a half year old group was hilarious. One little girl wanted to make sure she outsung everyone.......she was quite the character!

A man in uniform

Although he is obviously quite confused as to what to be at this point.
Someone should tell him he is on a police rocker wearing a firemans hat. (and his hat is backwards)
