Nothing new....

I see I haven't made a post in January at all....wow....its only cause there is nothing to say and I actually took the time to print some pictures and mailed a bunch to my mom so I don't feel so much guilt and the need to post them here.

Lets see----most of you knew I had applied for a different job at the clinic...well it didn't go my way. I did get a new boss with the process though cause my boss actually stepped down and took the position I wanted. I was a little bummed out cause I was so ready for the challenge and to learn more, but I guess it was meant to be. My job is definitely quite routine which bores me out most days....maybe something else will open up with time.

New years resolutions....we didn't really make any. I mean its a "whole years resolution" to eat healthy and lose weight, nothing about the new year that would make me change that....That's just a constant struggle. If I did smoke my new years resolution would be to quit...did you see the price of that habit? Wow...I can't imagine....so as mean as I am...One of my news years resolution is to convince my mom to quit. Your so broke all the time as it is mom, just think of the money you would save!!! I didn't get my being cheap from her, that's for sure....maybe it was from watching her not shop or budget so smart.

I do have a little more of push to try to drop a few pounds. A friend is getting married in May and I really don't want to be the fattest bridesmaid. SO I joined up with a team at work for the biggest loser....We are Team Awesome....so hopefully we do just that...awesome. We have to pay to join and then pay for each pound you gain. I plan to pay my start up fee, but never pay again. Winning is quite nice too as the payout is in cash and who can't use a few hundred dollars extra. That would pay for that bridesmaid dress I will need. I got a couple skinny minnies on my team so I will have to do double the work to help our team out. If it isn't in the house, I can' t eat it, right?!
